Points are live. You earn them automatically: a welcome bonus when you join, more every time one of your setups is approved, and a referral bonus when someone you referred gets their first setup approved. Your balance updates as you go.

Merch redemption is coming soon. Points will become redeemable toward discounts in the BattleStationGear merch store. Points are not cash and cannot be cashed out — they are store discounts only. They accrue now; spending comes later.

Yes. Points apply as a discount up to a per-item limit — you can never get an item entirely free with points, and there is a cap on how much of any single product points can cover. The remainder is paid at checkout. This keeps the program sustainable; the exact limits are shown in the merch store when redemption opens.
